Evening of Adventure: Rod McCurdy Crosses the Pacific Ocean

In our previous Evening of Adventure in Sydney, we had a guest appearance by Rod McCurdy, who shared with us his 2003 expedition where he sailed from South America to Easter Island in a ship made of reeds.

In this video, Rod details the expedition he is currently preparing to be the first to cross the Pacific Ocean from South America to Australia in a reed ship. His upcoming expedition will study the micro-plastic waste that is carried on the currents of the Pacific Ocean.
