Report & Exclusive Members Video Access

On Wednesday 15th of November 2017 – ANZEC members and guests enjoyed another incredible ‘Evening of Adventure’ in Melbourne, Facilitated in our Melbourne home “The Sun Theatre” in Yarraville. Michael and Krissa from ‘The Sun’ once again delivered a fabulous event with plenty of food and drink for all. Members and potential members, had plenty of time to mix and offer advice on each other’s exploration ambitions.

ANZEC member Tony Viren’s, two time winner of the round the world solar car challenge, delivered an entertaining presentation outlining the mentality, physicality and technology that it takes to win in this challenging field. Tony’s insights and story led to many conversations that offered him suggestions for his next solar adventure challenge.

Tony’s presentation was followed by a remarkably entertaining presentation by polar explorer Eric Phillips. Eric led ANZEC guests through a day of contrasts – one trekking to the Arctic and one sledding to the south pole in Antarctica. Fantastic visuals and video rounded out a much talked about presentation.

For Members who could make it on the night we welcome you to watch the presentations here.
